    石榴石又名為“玉砂”或“**金鋼”，具有較強的硬度和很好的耐酸耐堿性，是一種島狀結(jié)構(gòu)的鋁(鈣)硅酸鹽，目前，經(jīng)高純磁造出的有灰、紅、綠、白等多種染色體，常見的石榴石因其化學(xué)成分而確認(rèn)為六種，分別為紅榴石、鐵鋁石榴石、錳鋁石榴石、鈣鐵石榴石、鈣鋁石榴石及鈣烙石榴石。特點：**度強，熔點高，比重大，性能穩(wěn)定，硬度：7-8。密度：3.5-4.3克/立方厘米 
外觀：紅綠黑顆粒狀，是由島狀結(jié)構(gòu)的鋁（鈣）硅酸鹽礦物質(zhì)加工而成的。
用途：

石榴石的多面體特點能夠**不同顆粒之間比普通圓形或者橢圓形的顆粒之間產(chǎn)生更多的空隙，以便在起到較好的過濾效果，石榴石的比重較高，在污水處理罐/池外溢時，石榴石濾料幾乎不會流出。
