碳化硅簡介：
 
  碳化硅（SiC）是用石英砂、石油焦（或煤焦）、木屑為原料通過電阻爐高溫冶煉而成。碳化硅在大自然也存在罕見的礦物，莫桑石。 碳化硅又稱碳硅石。在當(dāng)代C、N、B等非氧化物高技術(shù)耐火原料中，碳化硅為應(yīng)用最廣泛、最經(jīng)濟(jì)的一種?？梢苑Q為金鋼砂或耐火砂。碳化硅是用石英砂、石油焦（或煤焦）、木屑（生產(chǎn)綠色碳化硅時需要加食鹽）等原料在電阻爐內(nèi)經(jīng)高溫冶煉而成。目前我國工業(yè)生產(chǎn)的碳化硅分為黑色碳化硅和綠色碳化硅兩種，均為六方晶體，比重為3.20～3.25，顯微硬度為2840～3320kg/mm2。

2.密度：46＃粒度（代表號）綠碳化硅不小于3.18克/厘米3.黑碳化硅不小于3.12克/厘米.
3.粒度組成：應(yīng)符合GB2477－83《磨料粒度及其組成》的規(guī)定
4.鐵合金粒的允許含量：30＃及以粗的各號以不通過45＃篩的鐵合金粒為零；36＃至90＃各號以下通過粒度檢查時最低層篩號的鐵合金粒為零；100＃及以細(xì)各號以不通過粒度篩檢查時混合粒下層篩的鐵合金為零。
5.磁性物允許含量：12＃至240＃的磁性物含量不大于0.20％.

碳化硅用途：
 
(1)作為磨料，可用來做磨具，如砂輪、油石、磨頭、砂瓦類等。
(2)作為冶金脫氧劑和耐高溫材料。
    碳化硅主要有四大應(yīng)用領(lǐng)域,即: 功能陶瓷、高級耐火材料、磨料及冶金原料。目前碳化硅粗料已能大量供應(yīng), 不能算高新技術(shù)產(chǎn)品,而技術(shù)含量極高 的納米級碳化硅粉體的應(yīng)用短時間不可能形成規(guī)模經(jīng)濟(jì)。
(3)高純度的單晶，可用于制造半導(dǎo)體、制造碳化硅纖維?！?
 
    黑碳化硅稱為黑碳化硅粒度砂，黑碳化硅分黑碳化硅粒度砂和黑碳化硅微粉兩大類產(chǎn)品.
    黑碳化硅粒度砂是用碳化硅自然塊經(jīng)過粉碎,研磨,酸堿洗,水洗,烘干,篩分等工藝,原料：石英砂(Sio2)和無煙煤或石油焦(c)，在攝氏1800度以上高溫條件下生成的非金屬礦產(chǎn)品,它具有硬度高,膨脹系數(shù)小,性脆,導(dǎo)熱性好等特點(diǎn),廣泛應(yīng)用于磨料磨具,電子產(chǎn)品研磨,耐火材料,特種陶瓷,泡沫陶瓷,涂料塑料添加改性,汽車配件,軍工航空,煉鋼用脫氧劑等.
 
耐火材料用碳化硅 在生產(chǎn)和加工碳化硅過程中有大量碳化硅含量90%以下的碳化硅形成與產(chǎn)出,俗稱為低硅.低含量碳化硅的主要用途為耐火材料行業(yè),煉鋼行業(yè)的脫氧劑,炮泥,澆鑄料,鐵溝料.我公司每年有5000噸以上的低含量碳化硅供該類產(chǎn)品含量分布為:90%,88%,85%,80%,75%,70%,65%,60%,55%,50%,45%,40%.粒度以60#以細(xì)為主。

2.耐火材料用碳化硅砂的粒度規(guī)格為3.15mm以細(xì)。其中3.15-0.1mm者應(yīng)占85%以上。 注：用戶如有特殊要求，允許按照用戶要求的粒度生產(chǎn)。
3.耐火材料用碳化硅中不得混有肉眼可見的低熔點(diǎn)夾雜物（如金屬屑）等。
