二、椰殼活性炭在廢氣處理中的應(yīng)用： 
1、氣相吸附中常使用顆?；钚蕴浚ǔＪ亲寶饬魍ㄟ^活性炭層進行吸附。根據(jù)吸附裝置中活性炭層所處狀態(tài)的不同，吸附層有固定層、移動層和流動層幾種。但是，在電冰霜和汽車內(nèi)的脫臭器之類小型吸附器中，依靠氣體的對流和擴散進行吸附。除了顆粒活性炭以外，活性炭纖維和活性炭成型物也正在氣相吸附中得到日益廣泛的應(yīng)用。

3、化工廠、皮革廠、造漆廠以及使用各種有機溶劑的工程排出的氣體中，含有各種有機溶劑、無機及有機硫化物、烴類、氯氣、油、汞及其他對環(huán)境有害的成分，可以用活性炭進行吸附以后再排放。原子能設(shè)施中排出的氣體中，含有放射性的氪、氙、碘等物質(zhì)，必須用活性炭將它們吸附干凈以后再行排放。煤、重油燃燒生成的煙氣中，含有二氧化硫及氮氧化物，它們是污染大氣、形成酸雨的有害成分，也可以用活性炭將它們吸附除去。  
4、椰殼活性炭用于精制氣體的用例還很多，例如防毒面具、香煙過濾嘴、冰箱除臭器、汽車尾氣處理裝置等，都是利用活性炭卓越的吸附性能，將氣體中有毒成分、對人體不利的成分或有臭味的成分除去。

三、活性炭貯存和運輸：
1、活性炭在運輸過程中，防止與堅硬物質(zhì)混狀，不可踩、踏，以防炭粒破碎，影響質(zhì)量。
2、要絕對防止水浸，因水浸后，大量水充滿活性空隙，使其失去作用。
3、防止與火源直接接觸，以防著火、活性炭再生時避免進氧并再生徹底，再生后必須用蒸汽冷卻降至80℃以下，否則溫度高，遇氧，活性炭自燃。
4、應(yīng)禁止焦油類物質(zhì)帶入活性炭床，以免堵塞活性炭空隙，使其失去吸附作用。
