棕剛玉，俗名又稱金剛砂，是用礬土、碳素材料、鐵屑三種原料在電爐中經(jīng)過融化還原而制得的棕褐色人造剛玉，故為此名。棕剛玉主要化學成份是 AL2O3，其含量在94.5%-97%，另含有少量的Fe，Si，Ti等。

棕剛玉主要用途：Brown fused alumina is mainly USES
（1）由于有耐高溫、耐腐蝕、高強度等性能，故用澆鋼滑動水口，冶煉稀貴金屬、特種合金、陶瓷、煉鐵高爐的內(nèi)襯（墻和管）；理化器皿、火花塞、耐熱抗氧化涂層。
