煤炭介紹
 
     煤炭，簡(jiǎn)稱煤，是遠(yuǎn)古植物遺骸，埋在地層下，經(jīng)過地殼隔絕空氣的壓力和溫度條件下作用，產(chǎn)生的碳化化石礦物，主要被人類開采用作燃料。
 
     煤炭對(duì)于現(xiàn)代化工業(yè)來說，無論是重工業(yè)，還是輕工業(yè)；無論是能源工業(yè)、冶金工業(yè)、化學(xué)工業(yè)、機(jī)械工業(yè)，還是輕紡工業(yè)、食品工業(yè)、交通運(yùn)輸業(yè)，都發(fā)揮著重要的作用，各種工業(yè)部門都在一定程度上要消耗一定量的煤炭，因此有人稱煤炭是工業(yè)的“真正的糧食”。是十八世紀(jì)以來人類世界使用的主要能源之一。

煤炭用途
 
      煤炭的用途十分廣泛，可以根據(jù)其使用目的總結(jié)為兩大主要用途動(dòng)力煤和煉焦煤。 
 
      一、動(dòng)力煤
      1)發(fā)電用煤：中國約1/3 以上的煤用來發(fā)電，目前平均發(fā)電耗煤為標(biāo)準(zhǔn)煤370g/(kW·h）左右。電廠利用煤的熱值，把熱能轉(zhuǎn)變?yōu)殡娔堋?
      2)蒸汽機(jī)車用煤：占動(dòng)力用煤2%左右，蒸汽機(jī)車鍋爐平均耗煤指標(biāo)為100kg/（萬噸·km）左右。
      3)建材用煤：約占動(dòng)力用煤的10%以上，以水泥用煤量最大，其次為玻璃、磚、瓦等。
      4)一般工業(yè)鍋爐用煤：除熱電廠及大型供熱鍋爐外，一般企業(yè)及取暖用的工業(yè)鍋爐型號(hào)繁多，數(shù)量大且分散，用煤量約占動(dòng)力煤的30%。
      5)生活用煤：生活用煤的數(shù)量也較大，約占燃料用煤的20%。
      6)冶金用動(dòng)力煤：冶金用動(dòng)力煤主要為燒結(jié)和高爐噴吹用無煙煤，其用量不到動(dòng)力用煤量的1%。
 
      二、煉焦煤
      中國雖然煤炭資源比較豐富，但煉焦煤資源還相對(duì)較少，煉焦煤儲(chǔ)量?jī)H占中國煤炭總儲(chǔ)量27.65%。
煉焦煤類包括氣煤（占13.75%），肥煤（占3.53%），主焦煤（占5.81%），瘦煤（占4.01%），其它為未分牌號(hào)的煤（占 0.55%）；非煉焦煤類包括無煙煤（占10.93%），貧煤（占5.55 % ），弱粘煤（占1.74%），不粘煤（占13.8%），長(zhǎng)焰煤（占12.52%），褐煤（占12.76%），天然焦（占0.19%），未分牌號(hào)的煤（占13.80%）和牌號(hào)不清的煤（占1.06%）。
      煉焦煤的主要用途是煉焦炭，焦炭由焦煤或混合煤高溫冶煉而成，一般1.3 噸左右的焦煤才能煉一噸焦炭。焦炭多用于煉鋼，是目前鋼鐵等行業(yè)的主要生產(chǎn)原料，被喻為鋼鐵工業(yè)的“基本食糧”。
